Our Closing the Gap Solution

ATA is committed to closing the gap on Indigenous disadvantage in Australia. In an effort to solving some of the chronic social inclusion and employment related issues facing Indigenous people, we developed a holistic service solution that was piloted throughout 2010 - 2011.

It is believed that this innovative model was one of the first of its kind in Australia, developed and delivered by one single organisation and was piloted with funding support through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations. Whilst the pilot program has completed, the model addresses some crucial gaps in mainstream support services and that its recommendations be strongly considered for wider adoption.
