Indigenous Program Coordinator

An exciting opportunity now exists for an Indigenous Project Coordinator to join our team in Thebarton.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • providing case management & mentoring to a caseload of Indigenous jobseekers at various stages of employment;
  • coordination and facilitation of training sessions for internal delivery, outsourced RTO’s and business partners;
  • management of program participants through all levels of participation;
  • liaising with job network agencies and business partners with regard to scheduling training sessions;
  • preparing training venues and associated paperwork for information sessions; and,
  • exercising a high level of discretion at all times.

You will have a good understanding of the working requirements within an RTO and the ability to demonstrated experience in case management & mentoring indigenous candidates.

You will have the ability to develop high quality networks and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer related services.

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills along with advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office will be highly regarded.

Due to continued growth, various opportunities currently exist for Mining Trainers to join our Adelaide based team to expand our training, workforce development and employment services.

If you have mining experience (Open Cut, Underground, Drilling, Blasting, Processing, etc...) and

The positions' primary responsibility will lie in the coordination and delivery of all training/assessment activities that meet ATA's and national industry quality standards. Reporting to the General Manager, Learning & Development you will demonstrate a personal commitment to customer service delivery and the use of appropriate training styles that engage and motivate students.

With an established career history in the mining industry, it is essential that the successful applicants will possess the following:

  • Training Qualification
  • Experience in training employees in a mine site environment
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current development and practices in the field of training
  • Competent using MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  •  

Possession of any high risk licences, registered assessor status in SA and knowledge of AQTF would be desirable.
