The program is designed to develop the skills and knowledge of participants to undertake specialist cleaning maintenance duties, up to supervisory level, for cleaning contractors. Successful participants will be able to work within established routines and methods, while demonstrating some degree of discretion and judgement.
You will learn about cleaning and maintaining an extensive range of surfaces and materials. In addition you will learn about occupational health and safety, environmental protection, waste control and working effectively in a team.
No required level of experience
On completion of this course, and related assessment tasks, candidates will have achieved the nationally recognised standards of Asset Maintenance at Level 3 under the Australian Qualifications Framework
Level 3
A 19 unit qualification made up of 5 core units and 14 electives . A unit is equivalent to 1 unit of competence.
